Derbyshire Mind Quality Assurance Statement
Derbyshire Mind endeavours to offer quality services, currently delivered from the main office at the RTC Business Centre, London Road, Derby,the Rosehill Club, based in Normanton and Advocacy Service based at Kingsway Hospital & Heanor Health Centre.
Internal Quality Standards
It is of utmost importance that the staff and volunteers working within Derbyshire Mind are given the information and support they need to enable them to offer quality service provision and meet service user’s needs. Derbyshire Mind has a comprehensive induction, supervision and review processes and has introduced an Individual Performance Review system. All of these measures assist staff, managers and supervisors in establishing if we are continuing to meet quality standards and alerts people to any areas of work that need to be improved upon.
The Individual Advocacy Service now has a number of additional quality standard tools that have been designed to ensure that the service has good quality control mechanisms that relate directly to the advocacy support provided. The systems mean that service users are receiving quality information and support from advocates. A standard has been set to enable all advocates to provide an effective and efficient service to their clients. Additional supervision measures and File Reviews have established a pattern of regular monitoring of the service offered and practice undertaken by each advocate.
