Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer to support our wide range of services? How about Movement & Mindfulness, lead one of our Walk and Talk Groups?

Volunteers’ main purpose is to support attendees in feeling welcome within the group and to provide a safe space for attendees to talk about their feelings and experiences with fellow humans.

We are working on expanding our Volunteer Team and so if you are passionate about supporting your community and are interested in helping with our services, supporting people have better mental health and wellbeing, then we would really love to hear from you!

We provide all our Volunteers with all the necessary training and support and help you to make a real difference to people in your local community who may be experiencing mental health challenges.

The Role

Derbyshire Mind is a local Mind within the wider Mind network and we are committed to developing innovative and responsive services which further promote mental health awareness and wellbeing across Derby and Derbyshire. We provide a range of advocacy and community wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems as well as the wider population.
